About the Role

Comfort Hands Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to provide high-quality, hands-on care and companionship to our clients in their homes. As a HHA, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social engagement.
• Assist with mobility support, including transfers and light exercises.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up living spaces.
• Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family members.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation (own vehicle recommended).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to perform light physical tasks, including lifting or assisting clients with movement.
• HHA (Home Health Aide) license is preferred but not required. Training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Previous experience in home healthcare or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory.
